Gerber Multi Tool – Crucial

Brand new to Patrol Store comes the Gerber Crucial Multi Tool.
As soon as I heard these were coming in I made sure to purchase one myself and I certainly don’t regret it. The Gerber Crucial packs a lot of punch into a small, compact and easy to carry multi tool.
Lightweight and pocket size, the Gerber Crucial Multi Tool delivers big on functionality.
The big selling point of this tool is the knife; featuring a half serrated/half fine edged blade it’s ideal for sawing or shaping wood, pretty standard stuff so far, but what really makes this tool stand out is the blunt tip. Now we all know you’re not supposed to use a knife to pry open a lid or lever a stuck drawer, but sometimes you really don’t have any other choice. With its thick spine and broad tip you can apply more lateral pressure than you can with an ordinary knife giving, more leverage whilst reducing the risk of the blade snapping and injuring someone. Although not recommended, the blade is sharp enough to cut through a seatbelt and the blunt tip will reduce the chances of puncture wounds, though for cutting through seatbelts check out the Gerber Strap Cutter as this is specifically designed for that purpose. The thumb stud means that it can be opened in a one-handed motion. Once the blade has locked into place it can easily be closed again by pressing the liner lock beside it.
Also featuring a multi function carabiner that can be hooked to belt loops or bags, it also doubles up as a bottle opener (you can’t work all the time!). If you don’t want it hanging loose it also has a pocket clip, meaning that it is always easy to get hold of in those “crucial” moments.
The Gerber Crucial also boasts a flat head and cross head screwdriver giving it the solid functionality you expect from any Gerber Multi-tool.
Finished in a stylish black and silver two-tone with an ergonomic curved design that increases tool retention and reduces hand fatigue, this multitool also looks as good as it feels.
